Social Media Marketing (SMM) is a type of Internet marketing that is used as a tool to promote websites to the benefits of social networking sites, thus increasing traffic towards them and learns from direct reactions of users.
SMM is based on the principle of organic search, which basically means that when the website or social network page associated with it is more active, the position of the website on the search engine increases, that’s it will see some results first.
What is SMM used for?
- The main goal of SMM is to improve communication with users, increase brand visibility, and reach more customers.
- SMM is being done by creating quality content that users of social networks share with their friends.
- The purpose of SMM is to get direct feedback from users so that the company gets an individual seal at the same time.
- Through interactive options on social networks, customers get a chance to listen to, either by asking questions or by complaints.
This type of SMM is called Social Customer Relationship Management (Social CRM), which can further increase reliability and return investment (ROI). If the users are satisfied with the content, relationship with the company, and the service provided.
