About the Translate PDF tool
Translate PDF translates the text of your PDF into another language. Your browser extracts the text page by page, rebuilds paragraphs and headings, and sends the paragraphs for translation in small batches. You get a side-by-side preview of the original and the translation, a translated Word document (.docx) that keeps the headings and lists, and a plain .txt file.
Supported target languages include Hindi, English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese and Italian, and the source language is detected automatically. The output is a new text document — the original PDF’s design, images and exact layout are not reproduced. Scanned PDFs need OCR PDF first.
Privacy: your PDF file is never uploaded. The text is extracted in your browser, and only that text is sent to a translation service (Google Translate, with MyMemory or Microsoft Translator as backup) through WizBrand to be translated. WizBrand does not store your text or the translation.
