Privacy Policy
How the free tools at wizbrand.com/tools handle your data and the public data they show. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
This policy covers the free tools at wizbrand.com/tools (the “Tools”), run by WizBrand (“we”, “us”). The main WizBrand platform at wizbrand.com has its own privacy policy. Questions: contact@wizbrand.com.
1. What you give us
- What you type into a tool — for example a username, a profile or page link, a website address or text. We use it only to produce the result you asked for.
- Files — most file tools (image converters, PDF tools, cropper and others) run entirely in your browser; your files are never uploaded. The Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF converters upload the file to convert it; the file and the result are deleted automatically within 30 minutes, and the download link only works for that time.
- Sign-in — you can use the Tools without an account. If you sign in with your WizBrand account, we keep your name and email address in your session so we can show that you are signed in. Your account itself is managed by the main WizBrand platform.
2. Public data shown by the social media tools
The social media tools show public information about accounts that a visitor searches for. We do not ask anyone to log in to a social network and we never see passwords.
Data from Meta Platforms (Instagram and Facebook)
The Instagram Followers Count, Facebook Page Followers, Threads and Meta Profile Finder tools use Meta’s official APIs (Instagram Business Discovery and the Facebook Pages API) through WizBrand’s own Meta app. For the Instagram Business or Creator account, Facebook Page or Threads profile that a visitor searches for, we read only public information:
- name, username, biography, website, profile picture, category and verification status;
- follower, following, like and post counts;
- recent public posts: caption, media type, thumbnail, like and comment counts, date and link.
We use this data only to show the report to the person who searched for it, including the engagement figures we calculate from it. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, combine it into profiles of people, share it with other companies, or use it for any other purpose. Personal Instagram accounts and personal Facebook profiles are never read.
Retention: we do not store this data in a database. A copy of each result is kept in a temporary server cache for up to 12 hours so repeated searches don’t call Meta again, then it is deleted automatically. You can ask us to remove it sooner — see Data deletion.
Data from other platforms
- YouTube — the YouTube tools use the YouTube API Services. By using them you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Public channel and video statistics are cached for up to 15 minutes.
- X (Twitter), Pinterest, Reddit and Tumblr — public profile, post and statistic data, cached for up to 15 minutes. X data is provided by the free fxtwitter service; Reddit and Tumblr data by their official APIs.
All of these results are used only to show the report to the visitor who requested it and are not stored after the cache expires.
3. Cookies
The Tools set only the cookies they need to work: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie, plus your sign-in session if you sign in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on the Tools.
4. Server logs
Like any website, our servers record technical information about requests — IP address, browser type, the page requested and errors — to keep the service secure and fix problems. These logs are not used to identify you and are deleted periodically.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent any data. To produce a result we send the account name or link you searched for to the platform that holds the data (Meta, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr or fxtwitter). Our servers are run by our hosting provider, which processes data only on our behalf.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can use the Tools without an account and without giving us personal information.
- You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use — email contact@wizbrand.com. We reply within 30 days.
- If you own an account shown by our tools and want it removed from our cache, follow the data deletion instructions.
7. Children
The Tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. Security
The Tools are served over HTTPS, uploaded files are deleted automatically, download links expire, and API keys are kept on our servers only.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
