About the X Followers Count tool

The WizBrand X Followers Count tool is a free X (formerly Twitter) analytics checker. Paste a profile link or @username and it shows the live follower, following and post counts, then analyses the account’s latest posts: average and median views, engagement rate, average likes, reposts and replies, how often the account posts, its best day to post, whether photos, videos or text posts perform best, its most used hashtags and its top posts.

Use it to benchmark competitors, check an influencer’s real reach before working with them, or track your own growth — without logging in to X. Reposts of other accounts’ posts are left out, so the numbers reflect the account’s own content.

Is the X follower checker free?

Yes — it is completely free. No account, login or credit card is required to check a profile.

What can I enter — a URL or a username?

Either works: a profile link like https://x.com/username or https://twitter.com/username, or just the @username.

How is the engagement rate calculated?

We add the likes, reposts, replies and quotes of the account’s latest posts and divide by their views. Per view, under 1% is low, 1–3% average, 3–6% high and above 6% excellent. Reposts of other people’s posts are left out.

How do you find the best day to post?

We compare the median views of the account’s recent posts by the weekday they were published, so one viral post can’t decide the result.

Can I check private (protected) accounts?

Only their follower, following and post counts. X shows a protected account’s posts to approved followers only, so there are no post analytics.

Are the numbers live?

Yes. Data is fetched when you search and kept for at most 15 minutes. Use “Refresh data” under a report for the latest numbers.
