LinkedIn Profile Stats
LinkedIn doesn’t share profile or company data with outside tools — here is how to see the numbers on LinkedIn itself, plus free stats for other networks.
LinkedIn data isn’t available to outside tools
LinkedIn keeps profile and company data inside LinkedIn. Here is where to find the numbers yourself.
A company’s followers
- Open the company page: linkedin.com/company/name
- The follower count is right under the company name.
- The People tab shows how many employees are on LinkedIn.
A person’s followers
- Open their profile: linkedin.com/in/name
- Followers and connections are shown under the headline.
- Their recent posts are under Activity.
Your own page analytics
- Open your company page as an admin.
- Choose Analytics → Followers, Visitors or Content.
- Export the data as a spreadsheet from each tab.

Why LinkedIn stats tools stopped working
LinkedIn closed its public profile API years ago. Today its official API only shares a company page’s followers and post analytics with apps that the page’s own admins connect, and only after LinkedIn approves the app. Personal profiles are not available to outside apps at all. Tools that still claim to show any LinkedIn profile copy the website, which breaks LinkedIn’s user agreement and stops working whenever LinkedIn blocks them.
The good news: every number those tools showed is visible on LinkedIn itself, and page admins get much richer analytics there. For Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X and Pinterest, WizBrand’s free tools read the official public data directly.
