About the Tumblr Blog Stats tool

WizBrand Tumblr Blog Stats is a free analytics checker for any public Tumblr blog. It shows the blog’s total number of posts and when it last posted, then analyses its latest posts: how many notes each one earned, which post types (photos, text, videos, quotes…) travel furthest, how much of the blog is reblogged content, the tags it uses most and the weekday its posts do best.

Use it to research creators and fandom communities, benchmark your own blog, or plan when and what to post. Everything comes from Tumblr’s official API, without a login.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Tumblr stats tool free?
Yes — it is completely free. No account, login or credit card is required to check a public Tumblr blog.
What can I enter?
A blog address like https://staff.tumblr.com, a link like https://www.tumblr.com/staff, or just the blog name.
What are notes?
Notes are Tumblr’s total engagement for a post: every like, reblog and reply adds one note. The more notes, the further a post travelled.
Why don’t you show followers?
Tumblr keeps follower counts private: only the blog owner can see them. Total posts and each post’s notes are public, so the report is built on those.
Can I check private blogs?
No. Password-protected blogs and blogs visible only to logged-in Tumblr users can’t be read.
Where does the data come from?
From Tumblr’s official API. Results are kept for at most 15 minutes; use “Refresh data” under a report for the latest numbers.
